Entrepreneurs honored at partnership’s awards ceremony

Ag Choice, of Andover Borough, was presented with the SCEDP’s Economic Innovation Award. As a recycler of food waste, livestock manure and municipal leaves, Ag Choice is the first and only business of its kind in the state that is licensed by the DEP to compost these materials into high-quality soil additives. The firms owners, Jay and Jill Fischer, said Thursday that they now have six full-time employees and plan to add two more in the near future.
